POLICE CLEARANCE REPORT OBTAINING
PROCEDURE FOR CITIZENS OR PERMANENT RESIDENTS OF LITHUANIA
You can obtain the police clearance report at:
Information and communication department at
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania
Sventaragio 2, LT-2600 Vilnius
The claimant should submit the following documents either
directly of via registered mail:1. Written request
to Information and Communication Department at the Ministry of
Internal Affairs (request
form)
2. Notarized copy of identification document (passport
or permanent residence permit)
3. 8 Litas bank receipt. The payment should be made to
State Tax Inspection of Vilnius district, bank account no is
10002458204, AB BANKAS HANSA-LTB, bank code 7300, payment code
5710
• Police clearance report is issued in 10 work days from the day
Information and Communications Department receives the request.
• At the claimant’s request, the report can be sent to the
requested address in Lithuania if 8 Litas bank receipt and a
notarized copy of the passport are submitted with the request.
• The claimant or any authorized person can get the police
clearance report if he/she presents his/her passport at Pilies
st. 7, Vilnius (the entrance from the yard), on work days 8:30
a.m. – 12 p.m.
